How California Consults LLC collects, uses, and protects information related to our SMS messaging campaign.

California Consults LLC provides a call answering and appointment scheduling service. When a caller reaches out to one of our clients and their call is unanswered, a receptionist may answer, ask basic qualifying questions, and offer to book a consultation.
Separately, California Consults LLC uses SMS text messaging to send appointment-related confirmations and reminders to customers who have booked a consultation and have provided consent to receive texts. Each client is assigned its own dedicated phone number for this purpose.
Consent to receive SMS messages is collected verbally over the phone. After a consultation has been booked, the receptionist asks the caller:
The customer must provide an affirmative response, such as "yes," before being enrolled to receive automated text messages. Customers who do not affirmatively consent are not enrolled in SMS communications.
We do not collect phone numbers or send text messages to individuals who have not scheduled a consultation and verbally opted in.
Text messages sent through our campaign are limited to appointment-related and customer-care purposes, including:
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled appointments.
Customers may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once opted out, no further automated text messages will be sent to that phone number unless the customer opts back in.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected in connection with this SMS program is used solely for providing the appointment-related services described above and is not sold or shared with third parties.
